VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCES FOR COMMUNITIES & RESIDENTIAL/CARE HOMES

The Thinker CIC delivers fully facilitated Virtual Reality (VR) sessions for community groups, residential homes, and care settings. Our sessions are designed to be calm, inclusive, and meaningful, supporting reminiscence, curiosity, and social interaction through shared immersive experiences.

Participants remain seated throughout, no technical skills are required, and our facilitator manages all equipment and gently supports the group before, during, and after the experience.

1 Hour Merseyside · 1 Hour Around the World

Each visit is carefully structured into two one-hour experiences, offering both local connection and global exploration.

Revisit familiar places, spark memories, and celebrate local heritage together. This hour often encourages storytelling, shared memories, and conversation.

Participants can experience locations across Merseyside, including:

• St George’s Hall
   
• Mathew Street

• World Museum
   
• Hill Dickinson Stadium
   
• Anfield
   
• Crosby Beach
   
• The Adelphi
   
• Bluecoat Chambers
   

This part of the session is especially valuable for reminiscence, local identity, and shared discussion.

In the second hour, participants travel beyond the UK to experience remarkable places and moments from around the world — often inspiring awe, curiosity, and lively conversation.

Experiences include:

• Visiting the Egyptian Pyramids
   
• Swimming with dolphins in clear ocean waters
   
• Exploring the ancient Colosseum in Rome
   

This hour offers a sense of adventure and discovery, particularly meaningful for those who may never have had the opportunity to travel.

• We bring 10 Meta Quest VR headsets
   
• All equipment and content provided
   
• Fully facilitated setup and support
   
• Participants remain seated
   
• No controllers or technical interaction required
   
• Small-group rotation if needed
   
• Group discussion before and after each hour
   

Sessions are paced gently and adapted to the needs of the group.
